♣ Both Mrs. Bradley and Mrs. Jackson express how wonderful Saturday Leisure is. Both parents tell the staff the same thing, how they too can go out on Saturdays and get a few errands done or get involved in their own leisure activities.

♣ Ms. Lynn  who is non-verbal, enter the building excited for another adventurous Saturday. When staff asks Ms. Lynn if she is ready to go out, she responds by grabbing her coat, shaking her head “yes”, and smiles as she walks towards the exit.

♣ Ms. Vernell and Ms. Cynthia  express how much they enjoy going out in the community with UCP’s Staff. Ms. Cynthia R. arrives at UCP clapping her hands while coming through the door saying “let’s go, I’m ready! Let’s party!” In her own words, Ms. Vernell cheers us up with, “I love it, Baby!”

♣ Carrie Lustig, Waiver Specialist from the RCM of Washington thinks that the leisure program is beneficial and much needed. “The consumers are extremely happy when they return home from Saturday Leisure”
