My CP was slight and for most of my life was not a big handicap (hand tremors, slight limp, general clumsiness).
The effects even lessened as I matured. But in old age the effects have become more pronounced, control over some
muscles seems to be diminishing, and I am suffering worsening pain in muscles and joints. Doctors always recommend surgery
(I have had it) and exercise, but the exercise regimens that most arthritic sufferers are prescribed just seem to make things worse.
At 80 years old I I am wondering if there are any orthopedists who know more about the effects of aging on CP?
